Black Smoke From Exhaust. by Originakalokalo(m): 10:21am On Sep 11, 2021
My car smokes black only when accelerating but stops afterwards.

It burns oil too. However, everything else is fine. It fires well.

Any remedy? Can anything be done?

Or should I just change the engine?

Bad sensor

Get a testing machine to locate the faulty sensor

I don't know.

Wind shield wipers

Once they are dirty, you start seeing black smokes.

Bad head gasket. When you have oil leaks, it’s either the gasket is bad or the drain plug is loose. I’m almost 100% sure it is the gasket.

Black smoke can be caused by different reasons that could range from as serious as engine fault like a cylinder damage to faulty injectors or as minor as a manifold hose swapped in the wrong position. But whatever the fault might be, once you see black smoke, your engine fuel consumption is going to be high. Your car will start consuming fuel on the high side depending on the cause of the problem.

Bad piston and rings or damage block. It's the oil mixture at the combustion chamber. Also the reason for oil drain.
