I think u should start by learning C# or Java But i prefer C#. But u need to really undertand Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Its the foundation of the modern programming languages. Download visual studio 2010 express edition. U should be really to read , study a lot (If u cant read , then this profession is not for u) Get good books , How to program c#, c# in a nut shell, HeadFirst c# , etc . Join Programming forums , codeproject ,codeguru etc Get good Training Videos. Once u have gotten to a state (once u have fully grasped the meaning of an interface ,abstract class, object) Then start learning Design Patterns (Gang of 4 and other patterns) Learn unit testing Apply Test Driven Development. Goodluck. |

You can use any of the main stream languages out there. The key thing is to learn the fundamentals of programming thoroughly, especially Object Oriented Programming. Java, c++, etc. Are some to consider. |

guy i was once like you... my very honest opinion..... start with visual basic 6. draw forms and buttons then learn how to attach codes to make them do stuffs. this gets you to see results quicker. the newer visual studio series come with complicated features and aint noob friendly. personally i'm most comfortable with c. |
