NYDP National Chairman Barry Avotu Johnson Nigeria 61st Independence Day Speech by btvnigeria(m): 4:25pm On Oct 01, 2021
2021 official Broadcast by Barry Avotu Johnson 1st, National Chairman NIGERIA YOUTHS DEMOCRATIC PARTY (NYDP) on the occasion of Nigeria's 61st Independence Day Anniversary Celebration

Distinguish ladies and gentlemen of the press, I welcome you all to this most responsive media briefing on a special day for our dear country Nigeria.

This media talk is design to mobilize, inform nd educate our youths across Nigeria on the need to join hands together as a family to move Nigeria forward for the good of our democracy and people.

Gentlemen of the press, I like to start by saying a very big birthday to Nigeria and a superlative congratulations to all Nigerians both home and abroad.
Nigeria is 61 years today and it is important to let the world know that as Nigerians we have not taken it for granted nd we have decided to continue to push harder for a solid democracy that would be able to foster peace and unity for our people by lal means.

As the biggest political party in the history of Nigeria and Africa, we appeal to all our members across the world to be in the mode of celebrations not because of the 61years birthday we have turned today as a nation, but because our youths have waken up to stand against bad leadership and disrespect for the rule of law.
We are celebrating our strength as a team that have decided to continue fight for credible, free and fair elections in our country.
As a democracy we must all put together our thinking caps to finding out solutions on our national developmental issues affecting a much more stronger and better nation where the respect for the rule of law and capacity leadership is considered as all times.

Over the last 61 years we have seen different political parties fighting to take power and also struggling to repair the broken concepts of development each administration have left behind them after their terms in office without finding ways to foster a way out.
On this note we call on the president Buhari administration to at least provide our youths solid capacity to participate in the governance of Nigeria by allowing the registration of new youths political parties so the youths can consolidate on the gains of democracy.

It is only when the youths are given the chance to participate that their involvement can provide solutions to the lingering issues of national development.

The Nigerian youth is a certified Capacity element that can make things work as fast as it is required to be, using international world standard or practice.

Our youths are ready to participate fulltime but the opportunity must be created to allow them get involved as a people.

We call on INEC chairman to do the needful by providing opportunity for the registration of youths political parties without going through litigation processes which makes out a less trust on the INEC organization in times of participating in it's electioneering activities.

The only way the youths can trust INEC's electioneering activities is when a leveled playing field is provide which we have not seen since 2015.
Anything INEC does on the 2023 general elections would not be recognized by the NYDP leadership until INEC respects the orders of the electoral act in the issues of the registration of new political party in Nigeria.
So far INEC has violated the rules of the game and must retrace it steps to rectifying and reconciling these defaults as it will go along way to bulltresss the image of it's operations so the youths can all come out from the north, south, east and west to make the 2023 general elections a huge success.
For now we say no to INEC nd all it's activities because as a political party we believe in the respect for the rule of law.

Our great media platforms here present, we like to also Inform you that the NYDP has gone ahead to carry out it's activities as a registered political party as the electoral act provides and shall legally challenge every electioneering activities of INEC if the NYDP is not captured in it's processes as the law provides.
We are here to make sure the rules of the game o politics is followed as a nation where everyone is given same page to make history as given to orders.
So therefore, we call on the INEC chairman to repent from his solo disrespect for the rules of the game provided by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria so our nation can grow out of the by force two party system INEC is trying to work with without a constitutional rights.

My dear friends of the press, I like to also make you know that any decision in the 2023 electioneering activities of INEC without the NYDP in question is not going to be accepted by the NYDP.
And on this matter if the youths decides to go to the streets on rampage of not given the opportunity to participate in our Politics the INEC chairman should be held accountable.
We would have no other option but to distract INEC's fake and fraudulent electioneering process come 2023.

We are Nigerians and cannot be shut out of participating in the decision of voting into power a solid Democratic leadership for Nigeria as citizens.

As youths we want our own political party nd the law provides us that privilege so INEC must obey the laws no matter what the case maybe.

We shall hold a national protest as the case maybe if INEC refuses to register the NYDP as the electoral act provides.

We shall hold a nationwide protest in all the state capital head quarters of INEC in Nigeria in no time to register our request that INEC must follower the rules of the game as provided by the constitution.

INEC chairman must stop playing the script of his pay masters nd play the script of the electoral act so we l can have the same table to talk to each other friends r the good of our democracy and people.

And finally on the issues of insecurity across Nigeria, we call on the president himself to try as much as possible to make some visits to the trouble zones across Nigeria so that he can get a first class information about the Truth of what the issues are because as it is at the moment it seems the authorities do not know or understand what the insecurity issues are across the nation.

Nigeria have turned into an unsaved nation by the news of daily kidnapping, rapping and armed robbery by jobless people and even local foreigner who are boraded by the west African states via the northern parts of Nigeria.
We wonder what kind of Elections this administration wants to conduct under an unsecured nation.
Government must stand up and take the advise given by experts so solutions can be obtained as fast as possible.
Our high ways are no more safe a d it is not acceptable.
Our youth corpers are killed and rapped d kidnapped and this is dastardly, and nit accepted.
We have seen the handwriting on the wall for the six years this administration took power and we can not turn our heads to other sides because we are afraid of been arrested by the DSS.
We have said it time without number and will still say it again and again until the solutions are forced out of the leadership.

And to all our members in Anambra state we say congratulations on this Greta day for Nigeria at 61, as we get ready to elect a new governor for the state.
The NYDP is gearing strong to partner with another political party to present a candidate that will become the next governor of Anambra state by the grace of God almighty.
We have to use this as a mark to prove to the world that the NYDP is indeed the biggest political youth group in Africa s a whole.
So if you are a member of the ENDSARS saga and a member of the NYDP we should l come out on election day to vote our person as our new governor.
Very soon we shall present to the public who we are supporting and we shall give that candidate an overwhelming 500,000 votes so we can start the movie of taking over Nigeria come 2023.

It should interest you to know that the NYDP is a political party that is created to promote true Democracy for Nigeria as a nation and everything we do must be given the opportunity to have democracy strive no matter what the case maybe.
NYDP has come to stay and it shall be written in history that the NYDP came, it saw and it conquered as a political movement that provides credible and resourceful leadership for Nigeria.

And one of the reasons why we he a low e-registration by is because we the youths don't trust, accept or believe in the current INEC's electioneering process until the NYDP is given the equal rights as the PDP and the APC put together.

The NYDP shall have it's natural congress convention very soon. As soon as we have a date for this event we shall send it to the media.

Finally gentlemen, I say a big thank you for your patience and support so far this movement of taking over Nigeria by the grace of God.

Thanks for coming
God bless you all
Long live the Nigerian press
Long live NYDP
Long live the federal republic of Nigeria.
