The world, as known by all and by most standards, has seven continents and even though research has proven that Tijuana and Acapulco both in Mexico, and Caracas in Venezuela are the three most dangerous cities in the world, while this is at the world level, it is also necessary that we are not oblivious of the dangers lurking around cities within continents. Africa, after Asia, is the world’s second-largest continent, both by size and number. Its large landmass serves as home to 54 countries and 9 territories. “Home” as many Africans proudly call the continent, has become an integral part of the identity of its over 1.11 billion indigenes, such that an African who lives in the diaspora also would always flaunt with pride, the African identity.

Let’s do a little imagination, huh? You’re coincidentally planning to make a trip to Africa, you’re packing your bags while making sure you have everything you would need put in place. Plot twist: you have everything you will need except a handy checklist of what cities are safe or dangerous. Ayeee! Risky, yea? Well, you might need to make some research just before you get on that trip. This way, even if your trip’s compass leads you to a dangerous city, at least you are not caught unaware. You become twice more careful than you’ll ordinarily be. Now, let’s get that checklist, people! Shall we? We’ll do this from the least to the most dangerous.

1. Lagos, Nigeria

2. Luanda, Angola

3. Port Elizabeth, South Africa

4. Nairobi, Kenya

5. Benghazi, Libya

6. Cape Town, South Africa

7. Durban, South Africa

8. Johannesburg, South Africa

9. Pietermaritzburg, South Africa

10. Rustenburg, South Africa

Hey mumu ,you just don't make up your own subjective list and decide which is most dangerous. You've got to have an objective 3rd party source and not just stuff outta your rear end.

Exactly. Wasting people's time. I thought it was ranking by some reputable research source, instead it's one mumu from his Nokia in his hole-in-the-wall

Stupid op, stop giving us information from your dumb biased brain grin

How can Lagos be more insecure than Libyan cities... nairaland is now a place for enemies of Nigeria, liars and block heads.
