Sack Rohr Now Before It’s Too Late -Oliseh

Former Nigerian midfielder, Sunday Oliseh has called on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to sack the current Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr due to his inability to move Nigeria’s football forward.

Oliseh made this call on the backdrop of the Super Eagles’ 1-0 loss to the Central Africa Republic in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on Thursday.

The 1994 Africa Cup of Nations winner in an interview with ‘Saturday Punch’, stated that Nigeria’s football has retrogressed under the German tactician in the past five years.

“It’s disgusting the level the coach has taken our football to. I watched the game and we didn’t have a definite pattern and a philosophy of how we play. I dare ask what he has achieved in five years with these talented players at his disposal.

“Since his appointment, this coach has been paid $55,000 per month, the sum of $2,640,000 by a country where the U-17, U-23, the Super Falcons and Super Eagles are threatening strike for unpaid wages. Put that in perspective for a moment, our football is not the same as it was. We need a fresh direction before it’s too late.”

I have said this here time and time again;

Gernot Rohr is not technically sound to handle Bendel Insurance Team B not to talk of the Super Eagles and Amaju Melvin Pinnick failed with this one.

It may seem as though the NFF are benefiting from this failure by extended his contract year after year.

Imagine being blessed with a bundle of talented lads at your disposal and you cannot utilize them to achieve something remarkable that you would be remembered for.

No good pattern of play, not like the Super Eagles we know that gives us sweet flowing football during the time of Christian Chukwu, Austine Eguaveon, Samson Siasia and the late Shiabu Amodu.

I join the hot headed Sunday Oliseh and football loving fans of the Super Eagles to call for the sack of Ole Gernot Rohr.

The earlier the better NFF sack that 'Ngbeke' Rohr the better.

With the calibres of quality professional footballers in the rank of the Super eagles they don't have any reason loosing to CAR even in away match.

Tanzania sacked their head coach, Nigeria born Emmanuel Amunike who qualified them for AFCON after 30 years absence and Cameroon sacked the well celebrated Clemence Seedorf and Patrick Kluvert...

Here in Nigeria there's already a heated argument ... Should NFF sack Gernot Rohr or not?

The team lack a clear football pattern like we know in westerhoh days
They also lack a clear team after 5 years in charge we keep experimenting new players every ame
They can't match any technically sound team especially the top 5 team in Africa

And struggle with minors like Sierra leone, losing 0-4 in second half

And recently losing now to central African republic here at home.... Sacrilege

But President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, keep giving excuses....

Must we leave in the past of because he won bronze in last AFCON......is it something we haven't won before ?

Haba Nigeria was once 4 best ranked nation in the world by FIFA in 1994 and if we are ambitious

Then we certainly know Genot Rohr can take us there

(You and this Rohr sef grin cheesy
That man empty since now. I have been saying it that only Pinnick can explain why Rohr is still Nigeria's Coach.)

Nothing personal any way

But for the mental health of Nigerian football supporters

Its obvious he CAN'T offer us anything else. Let's allow him retire in peace

Amaju should not be deft on Nigerians

How can we have such a caliber of players in the team and still suffer a stupid loss to CAR, who be CAR? I said it after that match that it’s a big achievement for CAR to have picked a win against the Super Eagles or sorry i meant Super Chickens grin

T'is beyond sacking Rohr! The question any sensible Nigerian should be asking is "How's our local leagues fairing"?

You need to understand the dynamics behind Nigeria's football administration.

The Glass house is an edifice of corruption.

Amaju PickMilk has been milking Nigeria's resources by the humongous contract offered to Rohr. There are a lot of kick-backs from that contract.

Till tomorrow, the cabals would prefer a foreign coach. Reason is not far fetched, they get a lot of kickbacks.

PickMilk and his crew would be smiling to the bank while Nigerians struggle to watch a match on NTA that is televised using two canon camera in the Lagos stadium.

Inasmuch I like Sunday Oliseh as a person, I suspect he is being Selfish here! sad

He is Probably eyeing the Job!

Though Rohr has his weak points, but the recent Woes of the Super Eagles is caused by our Greedy/Corrupt NFF! sad undecided

*Refuse to pay Coaches salaries for months..
*Shortchange coaches..5million on paper but N500,000 in reality!
*Using Quota System in squad selections,etc..

So u Guys should Cut Gernot Rohr some slack!
