Jobholders will work with the Greater Plutonio Operations team, which is currently split between the United Kingdom and Angola.



The position will initially involve working closely with the Greater Plutonio Project Team to develop a detailed understanding of the facilities and build core discipline competencies, whilst assisting with the design, fabrication, construction and commissioning of the Greater Plutonio FPSO (Floating Production Storage Offloading). In addition the role will be very involved in setting up the onshore systems required to support the FPSO once production commences.



From first oil the position will provide ongoing onshore day-to-day support for the offshore equipment and systems. A key part of the role is resolving technical problems, identifying and recommending improvements to the existing plant, processes and maintenance practices. The position will be based onshore in Luanda and r eports to the discipline Technical Authority. The position is based onshore but the incumbent may be required to work offshore for significant periods of time.
