Police operatives from the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, have ordered the owner of the popular Calabar Kitchen and hotel located at Allen Avenue, Mrs. Patricia Akpan, to exhume the corpse of his manager, Emmanuel Peter Udokang, who she allegedly buried without informing his wife and children.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the death of late Emmanuel on10th September, 2021, sparked controversy as his bereaved wife, Mrs. Rosemary Peter, has stated that she holds the management of Calabar Kitchen responsible for the death of her husband.

The embittered wife stated that her husband died and she was not informed rather Mrs. Akpan kept the corpse in the mortuary and later went to their village to bury him while she was still in Lagos with their children.

She is demanding that she would like to know the cause of his death ascertained through autopsy report hence the order by the Police to Mrs. Akpan to go and bring the corpse back to Lagos from his village in Akwa Ibom State.

The late Emmanuel Udokang, who had been working with the company located on Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos, almost all his working life, reportedly died in their premises after receiving a yet to be identified female guest.

Following the circumstances of the death, Police detectives from the Homicide Department at Panti, Yaba, Lagos, have commenced investigation and summoned the owner of Calabar Kitchen for questioning over the death.

It is a very wicked and Godless world ... But still God is in control.

Seek first the kingdom of God and righteousness... that is the new song in my heart.

A righteous soul has fear for nothing and no one. But a sinful soul runs to and fro even when no one is chasing .

Have a blessed day

It's even more shocking that the man's family allowed the woman to bury him without his wife and children. I won't be surprised if Mrs Calabar kitchen is already known as wifey back home

Probably a case of estrangement. My guess is that the man was no longer seeing his wife and kids as family and probably have not allowed them visit him at his place of work hence the owner took his body home after his demise to the extended family for interment.

Now estranged wife feels it's time to get her pound of flesh.
