Oga, no one uses their real age in Nigerian football. The only difference is just the fact that while some remove up to 10-15 years from their real age, others do not remove more than just 4-5 years. Mikel that was playing first team football for Plateur United as far back as 2002 is who you're saying he didn't remove from his age. You mean a 15 year old boy was playing top-level football in the very physical Nigerian League? You know nothing bro.

Why would any reasonable person think that this picture we are seeing here is that of someone close to 50 years old? 50 oh! Cos if you say he's 47 then he's close to 50.

Some people will be 40 years old and in their mind, they think they still look 20; hence, they refuse to believe other people's age.

He's actually 44, 7 years older than his declared age of 37 currently.

How do i know this? Many years ago during my undergrad days, had this friend in school who knew Martins, both families are really close according to him. That one of his older sibling was same age with Martins and he stated the age which happened to be 7 years more.

Fast-forward some years later, the was a leak on NFF website which stated his real age, actually 7 years older. Then i knew that my friend back then could not have lied.
