We know "babe" is informal.
However, that law cited is for PUBLIC breach of peace and the man in question has not coonstituted a public breach of peace, and not applicable in a context of marriage. Marriage is a private domain and such act can not be said to have constituted breach of peace to the woman in particular. She can only get a restraining order from d Court against the man.
