The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, has declared weekday November 2, 2021 as work-free day. This is to alter employees within the public and personal sectors actively participate within the state’s Annual Thanksgiving service. Diri proclaimed the choice through a ‘Government Special Announcement’ issued on Mon in Yenagoa by the Commissioner for data, Orientation and Strategy, Ayibaina Duba.
