There is no way u can clear a 22 story building collapse in a day or 2...especially in a densely populated area like ikoyi with buildings around..
Some people are talking of moving cranes... It will take 3 days max to fully move and couple a standard crane to get the job done...by den. Lot of people would have died...
Their method isn't 100% though but let be realistic not superstitious ..
My only problem is that more men should be deployed and work in shift...it will take nearly 2 weeks to recover all the bodies

There is a rubble with people trapped inside. You start pulling out broken bricks from the middle. Meaning that the rubbles on top will fall on the people trapped inside and killing them. The removal of rubbles should have been from the top, to prevent collapse on the people trapped inside.

It's very easy to criticise especially when one is distraught and seeking solutions which are not forthcoming.

So many people lost their lives in the collapsed Miami, Florida apartments even though they have better facilities.

as long we continue the way we are going, we are not getting anything right. we cant continue to support ineptitude, incompetence, poverty mentality of greediness, selfishness and cunningness, insolence, immorality, political vices, and other societal anomalies that can only exist in Nigeria and expect a miracle. We as a people have shortchanged ourselves so much through all these anomalies and honestly, these misdemeanors have become a norm, so how do we get it right? is it from the poor leadership or the selfish followership, ironically both are so fundamentally and fantastically corrupt! nonsense.

I can understand the difficulties in quickly setting up cranes and testing the integrity of such cranes... what I find difficult to understand is the lack of sniffer dogs that can navigate inside small openings and come back. Such sniffer dogs would have been equipped with infrared camera... so that rescue operation would not be guesswork.

Two friends of mine who are software developers got fast jobs and so many clients. They kept hitting me hard for not chasing clients. They bashed me for working on a project for years. I am still on that project currently. It aims at solving a huge problem in the Nigerian system.
The truth is no one seem to be solving any problem these days in this part of the world. Most skilled people are chasing clients. When I talk about solving problems I mean, finding an error in your environment and designing a scheme or device to solve it with a passion, irrespective of the time it takes.
For every problem, especially one as this, there is an innovation for solution. This requires passion, pains and time without short cuts.
That is why the whites will recover from a two weeks hurricane disaster in less than a month and life return to the normal because they've developed solutions that's unique to their pressing environmental demands.
We are still far away. We have lots of skilled graduates that can't render a solution when situations demand technological leverages.
They are only good at chasing clients. Forget the government. We are the government. The government is not from Mars. It comes from us.
When life stares us with harsh realities, our unclothedness shows. This is just an example.

A Distraught lady who is one of the families of those trapped inside the debris of the Collapsesd Ikoyi Lagos Building had charged the NEMA Authorities and all the Rescuing Team to do it better and in a safer way, to save any life who may still be living in there, not harming them while at it..

The lady complained that, even though she ain't an expert on this, but she knows that the style with with the team is packing the wreckages with their machines can even harm or kill anyone still crying in there for his or her life.
