If Nigeria want to make their money stronger, they need to stop importing and start manufacturing to export

But the last time Buhari closed border to boost local production, some bigots said he is targeting a tribe.

what of govt that is importing fuel. When we can manufacture locally

President Muhammadu Buhari should please do more to redeem the image of Nigeria's battered currency.
1 pound sterling to N780 is just unacceptable. Just a little change and it is N1,000 (our highest denomination)

1 Cameroonian CFA is ₦1000. And you're complaining about £ (UK). Like this na make $1 (USD) turn ₦1000 (NGN) I dey wait

Stop quoting Black Market price. One Pound is not #780.

There is a whole lot to strengthening our currency than just importing less and exporting more. No country export more than China yet their currency is not better than USD, Euro or Pounds.

This government have made several hopeless policies and investment. How can they come in and start spending billions of dollars to explore oil in the north when oil is the reason why we are a mess?

Why are they handling banditry with kid gloves knowing it will hamper farmers going to the farm and lead to inflation when the demand is higher than supply due to the raids?

Why are they talking about removing subsidy and end up sending the funds to the poorest people as transport allowance? Which hopeless data do they have to determine the poorest within each state?

3 years down the line, has bag of rice reduced in price when compared to when people are allowed to import it?

Why are they selling dollars for pilgrimage lower than what they sell for manufacturers? Of what economic importance is pilgrimage to Nigeria as a nation?

How can we have a steel mill and refineries that are not working yet gulping billions of funds?

Nigeria is messed up. We know our problem but won't solve it because the solution won't favour those on top.

It's okay to close your boarders. But be strategic about it. Nigeria is messed up once again. But it can get better if we all get our PVC and go out to vote.

You're still repeating the same mistake others are making. Those policies don't work.

It is a layman's answer to serious economic problems.

Yes!!! he's targeting a particular zone.

Why close the borders that contribute majorly to helping the dying economy and leave the borders that allows b*s*rds encroach to destabilize us open

#780 can get a plate of meal in Lagos and more in other part of the country, while 1pound can get you a plate of meal in any part of UK
Plate of good meal or just anyhow meal?

You don't compare 1naira to 1pound, you equivalent it the counterparts.
Do you know why most businesses man and woman chose China as their market destination?
China purposely devalue their currency.
Like I said, 1pound can't fetch a plate meal, but you can get a plate of meal with #780 in Lagos and more in other part of the country, even cheaper FCT
Compare £1 to 1 naira if their is anything like 1 naira.

You don't close Seme border, while you open niger border for fulanis to be trooping in with arms to kill us,and expect us to keep mute.
Before you close border what Alternative have you made for those items? You close border so they should be no more imported rice, but the local farmers are being killed by the fulanis you open the northern border to come in. Reason before you take.

You do not close borders when there are no alternatives in place. Create alternatives first before closing borders.
