I like the Volkswagen Jetta 2006 to 2009 series. This is the ride I love most. Please advice on this ride. I really want to know if its trouble-free, reliability, maintenance. Is it advisable. Comments will be appreciated. |

Hi, I have a 2001 model and i have had problems with the fans like 3 times, they stop working especially when i pass through muddy flood waters. over all the jetta is a relaible car and will not disappoint you as long a su do proper service and maintainance schecks. |

My sister runs a 2001 Jetta (Bora in Europe) 2,0 8V, she's had it since 2005, all it's had so far is routine service, and consumables like tyres and brakes. It has covered 202,000 miles. I used to own a 2000 Bora 1,9 TDi, I owned it from 2002 - 2008, no issues with it. I sold it just before Christmas 2008, with 437,000 miles on the odometer. I travelled to Europe twice with it. The current owner does less mileage than I did, she's added a mere 16,000 miles, making it 453,000 miles to date. Look after a car, it'll reward you. Neglect servicing / maintenance, things will start to break, with costly results. |
