1) Prof Barth Nnaji, Born in Enugu State, graduated from St. Johns University, New York, the USA with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He later attended the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with his Masters and Ph.D. in Engineering. He has also received a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) post-doctoral degree in artificial intelligence and robotics. As a writer, he focused on three main topics: computerized architecture, robotics, and information technology. His insights into the theory that many of the objects we operate have a geometrical structure are derivable from his theoretical attempts at constructing the term geometric logic. He is also known as one of the innovators of the E-design concept, where product construction engineers would work together from different locations to plan, create and test the same product using the software and the website / worldwide.

Nnaji is the first black man in American history to be bestowed with the title of Distinguished Professor of Engineering, the first African to become Director of the United States National Science Foundation-endowed Centre for Scientific Excellence, the first Nigerian to win the Baker Distinguished Research Award which is considered the equivalent of the Nobel prize in Industrial Engineering, the first African to write a book which was declared the best book in manufacturing engineering of the year throughout the world, the first Nigerian to be honoured by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund as the African Scientist of the Year, the first Blackman to graduate as the best student of the year at St John’s University in New York which was then 120 years old, the first minister to come from Nkanuland in Enugu State, the first indigene of Enugu State to win the Nigerian National Order of Merit which is Nigeria’s highest honour for intellectual and artistic achievement, the first Nigerian to build a power plant, and the first minister to raise electricity generation in Nigeria to almost 5,000 megawatts and all of it was successfully put on the national grid, except some 300MW which served as spinning reserve, and so ensured unprecedented power supply across the country in 2012.

2) Ume Ifeanyi Charles is credited with five (5) inventions all of which were patented at the United States Patent and Trademark Office
(USPTO). These are:
*.Method and Apparatus for Measuring Thermally Induced Warpage in Printed Wiring Boards Using Shadow Moir, United States Patent No. 5601364, Feb. 11, 1997;
*.Method and Apparatus for Measuring Thermal Warpage Using Projection Moir, United States Patent No. 6564166 B1, May 13, 2003;
*.Object Inspection Method and System, United States Patent No. 6747268, June 8, 2004;
*.Inspection System and Methods, United States Patent No. 7492449, February 17, 2009; and
*.Ultrasound Systems and Method for Measuring Weld Penetration Depth in Real-Time and Off-Line, United States Patent No. 7762136, July 27, 2010. He has 21 Patents to his name.

Bio: Ifeanyi is a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. He is a recipient of the Donald P. Eckman Education Award in recognition of his contributions towards the education of mechatronics throughout the world. In 2010, he was also awarded the Electronics and Photonic Packaging Division (EPPD) Excellence in Mechanics Award.

3) Cyprian Uzoh. He is considered a genius of computing because he revolutionized the technology world through its inventions.

Of Nigerian origin, Cyprian Uzoh holds more than 126 patents delivered in the United States and more than 160 worldwide in semiconductors technology. He also co-wrote more than 35 publications. And his exploits were worth to him many awards on an international scale.

In 2006, he was appointed “inventor of the year” for the patent on the “Manufacturing process of electrolytic interconnection structures on a chip of integrated circuit” (USPTO 6.709.562).

USPTO 6.709.562 is one of the most important patents in the science and technology of the semiconductors field.

Cyprian Emeka Uzoh is said to be the main pioneer of the modern technologies of the copper interconnection of high performance.

He is the one who discovered, developed and applied in the team, the various elements and the critical technologies that drove the successful implementation of the technology of copper interconnection at IBM Corporation and also in all the semiconductor industry.

This technology allowed the introduction of copper in the manufacturing of chips, which was a revolution.

The discovery of galvanoplasty technology in this industry is also to be put to the credit of Cyprian Emeka Uzoh.

Let us remind that IBM put this technology into production at the end of the 1990s and represents today the main method of cabling devices using electric fields and metal muds to polish metals with low pressures.

4) Emeka Nchekwube. He is credited with the co-invention of the following:
*.Hypoestoxides, derivatives, and agonists thereof for use as stent-coating agents, U.S. Patent no. 7229979
*.Hypoestoxides, derivatives, and agonists thereof for use of antiparasitic agents Patent no. 6242484
*.Terfenadine oral powder, U.S. Patent no. 5455049
*.Solutions of pentamidine, U.S. Patent no. 4,853,416
Bio: Emeka Nchewube is a Nigerian-born Neurosurgeon who currently lives and practices in the United States. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and earned his Bachelors's degree in chemistry from Central Michigan University. He attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit where he also finished his Neurosurgery residency. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a member of the San Jose Surgical Society, the American Medical Association, and the California Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Tribalism will get you nowhere.

Dunce.

If you had basic common sense, your thread would list NIGERIAN inventors of all ethnicities.

But you're a narrow-minded village dunce, and a primitive spear-chucker, so all you care about is your 'kinsmen'.

Bisi Ezerioha is a US-based Nigerian that has been shaking the auto world after building the world’s fastest Carbureted front-wheel car.
Ndubisi Ezerioha, a.k.a Bisi Ezerioha, is a talented Nigerian engine builder, entrepreneur, and professional racecar driver based in the U.S. He is currently the Chief Engineer and CEO of Bisimoto Engineering – an auto company founded by himself.

As of the year 2013 all through to the year 2015, this talented man successfully designed high-performance car engines for many popular models like Hyundai Elantra, Honda Odyssey, Hyundai Sonata Sedan, Honda Fit, Porsche 911, Honda Civic Si, and the Honda Civic Wagon.

Bisi Ezerioha deserves some accolades because the 2015 Hyundai Sonata’s engine, as well as the 2014 Honda Odyssey’s engine, are both recognized all over the world as being powerful, strong, and great engineering feats. Also, many will be surprised that Bisimoto engineering actually partnered with Hyundai in building the engine for the 2016 Tuscon which even Reuters claims it’s the most powerful model to date.

These records and many more are part of a long list when it comes to the achievements of Bisi Ezerioha in the international automotive industry. To now crown it all, the 48-yrs-old talented engineer currently holds the record for the builder of the world’s fastest carbureted front-wheel car and he also holds two other world records as well in the field of car engine speed and design.

world’s fastest Carbureted front-wheel for a car.

When drug busts are reported here, the offenders are always called NIGERIANS in the thread title.

Nobody titles their thread ''Igbos caught smuggling drugs in India'' etc.

So find another excuse for your tribalism and tribalistic headline. You're a disgrace.

Why don't you all get the hell out of Nigeria and go and live in your tiny landlocked DOT?

You can't keep saying ''we are not one'', yet you find your stinking backside in OTHER peoples' territory.
