Lightning flashing across
Rumbling thunders
Clouds thick and black
As dark as coal
I shudder from within
A heavy downpour coming

It frightens me like a thief
I can barely see
My feet in stalemate
The waters rising high
Cars stuck in the mud
Electricity supply cut short
The sound of rushing waters

Will it be like the day of Noah?
Where the rains had no end
Where creation faced a flood
Noah’s ark and the storm
Creatures big and small.

Lord please no downpours
Shut down the flood gates
Lest we perish like they did

Then I see the colorful bow
Transversing across the sky
High high in the cloud

The aftermath of Noah’s offering
That sweet aroma
It pleased the Most high
” Never Again ”
Will the Earth be destroyed by flood.
