Web Design is an art, but the basic steps can help lead to even an artist-not a good design.

For the novice or expert, there’s always more to learn with these web design tips.

Web Design Tips #1 is Graphic design

There is a saying “the first impression is the last impression.”

The site design is one of the most important aspects to consider when creating a web page.

If the design is good and easy to understand visitors are more likely to display the number of pages.

Site ugly, dark is likely to cause the pages are closed without looking at all content.

The layout of the entire site must be consistent and each web page should appear as part of a website.

The same pattern style and color presentation content should be followed in the pages of the site. The contents of the site should be divided into logical sections.

For sites purely artistic, there are obviously exceptions to these rules. For sites to make money these guidelines should almost always be followed.

Web Design Tips #2 is Limit the use of plug-ins to view your site

Try to avoid using additional components which the user needs to download to view the webpage. People tend to avoid downloading unnecessary plug-ins and they can close the web page without displaying it if they download and install a new plug-in.

However, some external components have become very common. Components such as Java applets, Shockwave and Flash components and Active X components become standards for web development.

Web Design Tips #3 is Avoid unwanted tools and effects

Do not use all the tools that is freely available on the market.

Page statistics buttons are common, but most decent hosts provide the same service has no advertising necessary.

People also use effects like fade-ins and consignments, which can slow a user seeking information. This is a potential source of irritation.

Web Design Tips #4 is Clear and concise content on the Website

In most cases, the content of a site must be clear so that the visitor knows the first page of this site that is intended.

To achieve the most visitors, the information should be transmitted clearly without using jargon that the average person can not understand.

Web Design Tips #5 is Regularly update

If visitors still find new information on your site then they are likely to visit again. If the information is still standing and it is very difficult to keep long-term visitor attention.

Web Design Tips #6 is Limit the use of graphics

Using many images may cause slow page downloads. Slow websites are irritating to visitors on slow connections and fast connections both. In addition, search engines not index text in images.

Web Design Tips #7 is HTML coding standards

Appropriate coding standards should be followed for browser compatibility.

For example, many people fail to use the alt tag for images and people with slow Internet connectivity may have problems viewing the images. If the alt tag is present then at least the visitors know what is missing.
