No matter how effective a marketing strategy is, if you don't get it right, it won't work for you.

Before you start social media marketing, know these three things. And if you've started, make corrections.

1. Your audience: you must know who your audience are. Their age, interest, gender, spending ability, etc.

2. Social media marketing is not mere posting: what most people understand about social media marketing is posting. Don't get it wrong, you must post and be consistent. However, you must know what, how , and when to post.

3. Analytics: measuring your business progress is important and that's what analytics does.

Analytics helps you to:
1. Understand what happened

2. Why it happened

3. What may happen

4. Minimize the bad and maximize the good
