There is rush to the east . The eastern flights have been booked till January in all the airlines. Flights from Lagos to east and Abuja to east are barely available but flights from Abuja to Lagos is still available while flight's from Lagos to Abuja is available

He may be correct, that is the more reason why he is avoiding PH. Those areas he mentioned have very low return patronage so the ticket fee will likely be high to compensate for the empty sits and to encourage the few airlines that follow those routes. PH has high patronage and will likely be on the same amount with those northern states but he mischievously avoid PH.

So long it is not Aba Abakaliki or Owerri that as overtaken Lagos we are OK with it.

Simple explanation

It's December. All the economy flight seats to the East have been booked by my Ibo fellow citizens who are going back home for holidays. So the only available seats are, guess what, business....hence the high prices.

Flights to the North don't have that high demand around December as flights to the East. So, economy seats to the North are still available. As soon as flights to the North get booked economy wise, it would only be the business seats remaining.

Plus, if you are smart enough, and you are going East this december...you would have booked yer seats online since last month.

Check back in February, the situation would have changed.

You will get the same average price depending on when you book. Book in advance and you pay 33,600. Its a mix. Lagos to Yola is 95,000. This assertion is not entirely true.
