Igbos are not in anyway related to the jews or any overseas tribes.
When the Israelites came to Africa to look for their relatives. They came to Ethiopia and the southeast, with many scientists, professors and researchers.
The spaceman they used to check if igbos are truly jews didn't scale through. They even had to try if the DNA could have any kind of resemblance but it was all futile.

When they entered into Ethiopia. They carried out same research, dating and other traditional findings. The a part of Ethiopia was then founded to be part of the Jewish. The Prime Minister of Ethiopia Hired a plane, and those willing to return to Israel where all lifted to Israel. Infact, till today people from Ethiopia who are willing to move to Israel can do it.

Coming to Nigeria. The only tribe that has a relationship with the whites is the Fulani people. The Fulani is believed to be cousins to the Arabs, and this can be proven in many ways.

Where is the misconception that the igbos are jews coming from? This is because many igbos don't know their ancestral lineage, so whatever people tell them, they tend to believe it. Another is because igbos are travelers and business inclined; which is something the jews is also known for.
The igbos are creative, just like the jews. However, all research carried out couldn't prove a DNA relationship with the jews. Another one is culture and traditional ways of worship. Looking deeply into culture of the igbos, we will realise that it resembles other black tribe culture, and doesn't have one special thing about it.

The jews are still coming to igbo land till today to still research, and checke if igbos are truly jews. Some people say that they are still coming because of the many business exploits by the igbos. The igbos are creative, and advanced, even more than those people that passed the Jewish test in Ethiopia. So, they wish igbos were truly jews; the same way the igbos wish to be truly jew. But indications and DNA are not in agreement.

There's a clear history of how he expanded into the igbo people we have today. He is also the father of edo people and his founded the Oba kingship, but we will talk about this later.

Those distorting and changing history should stop it, and I advise all Nigerias to research deeply into the historical events that has been thwarted and changed for political reasons.

Anyways, I watched a documentary about The Lost Tribe of Israel. The Rabbi who delivered the lecture mentioned Igbos in Nigeria among others, with consideration to find out for inclusion.
Israeli government is not assuming the claims as the OP's post seemingly suggest.

God created blacks. Then, blacks became wrongly born - again, by indiscipline, dishonesty, idolatrous - superstitions. They are behaving as a 'curse' on earth.
