I just feel like putting my works out there. I have some finished projects (might share soon) from my years of experience as a builder.

I will start with one of the works at hand presently, 4 FLOORS Classrooms and offices, somewhere around Ikoyi.

Start Date: August 2021

A Pile cap foundation in place as you all know Ikoyi to be non friendly area when it comes to water lodged or run.
The Pictures attached, shows the site introduction to this thread and how succumbed it was to water and also the set-out/casted area is the workers shelters for convenience.

Also, I will come up with the working drawings for easy understanding, from Sub to super.

Note: This purpose of this thread is to put my works out here and give room for open discussion so as to learn and gain from other people's experience.

Also, a provision for Toilet/Bathroom was made for the workers. The pictures attached to this post will show the setting out/building process of the Dent and roofing of the Workers shelter and Toilet, Water level of the site was considered before we make our moves on this two temporary structure.

Also we have to expose our Piles point for easy location and assess before taken our general site level considering the TBM already established on site and in reference to ERL.

Drawings below will show all the our Piles and process and dimensions to each of the pile cap base with Depth.

We have our Cap base in different Sizes and Dimensions also, a foundation ground beams which connect all the piles Cap base together columns to columns, Ground beams = 900mm.

Note: the top part of the Piles was first chiselled off, reason been that it is always the last portion of concrete poured, so we consider the concrete weak, at least from the top to about 600 or 800 mm down.
After this we took out (excavate) to our depth as it is instructed in the drawing...Note: Some share same depth while some are deeper than others.
