I also took the pain to go on google to do the needful... I intentionally didn't put the exact speed as 2.54ghz but left it rounded off.

I can't fault you on this though because there are similar laptop models with the same build and specs but different speed. I think it's probably due to the time difference in their architectural build.

Can't really remember the ones I came across but it's happened lots of sometimes which is why sometimes I shy off from putting the processor speed I see online before I begin to speak Spanglish on why I posted a higher processor speed but have a lower one...it's not easy to identify if it's brand new laptops because they're diverse; especially HP 15 laptops.

I actually did a little research on this, and Notebookcheck were accurate on their specs.

The factory CPU is T7250 at 2.0GHz but it could be upgraded to a max of T9400 at 2.53GHz.

So either you or one of its previous owners upgraded it.
