FC Porto have received a fax on behalf of head coach Andre Villas-Boas in which the tactician announced the termination of his contract with the club, an official Porto source has told news agency Lusa.

The €15 million release clause in Villas-Boas' contract has been met and he is free to become the new Chelsea boss.
