If you go to the police first, they will arrest him then later release him after bribe then his able to clean up.

Even if he is a legitimate medical doctor if you suspect him of negligence leading to the death of patients they will take up the case and investigate. If found culpable he will be suspended or even banned from medical practice and may also be prosecuted in court.

It’s alarming how many quack doctor we have. I never knew till my women got sick recently. We visited a number of hospitals and U realized they are hell bent on making money from people not only that with quack doctors. Every hospital I visited, I asked to talk to the doctor in charge. From my vast medical knowledge I could guess they were either fake or inexperienced and need I add they have good structures too. It’s so sad

No more doctors in Nigeria jare. I was in a taxi cab yesterday with a woman on her way to work. She received a call from her sister and was complaining bitterly to her sister about her workplace UCH how they don't have any doctor left. She said as at last year they had just 65 resident doctors with about 10 specialists. She said now they have just 25 resident doctors with no specialist and even the 25 are processing ways to get out of this country.

I will go to Luth for check up and there won't be doctors on ground to attend to patients only matrons, nurses, non medical staffs and students doctors. May God help us in this country

. Why are you raising the alarm? He shouldn't report a suspicious medical practice? So no one should ever do the right thing in your naija?

Send a letter to your state ministry of health with a copy to the Nigerian medical association.

For faster delivery, you can also send to Federal ministry of health and copy NMA. It is always better to address State letters to the commissioner or Permanent secretary of the state or minister & Perm sec for Federal

File a petition to the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with full details of the suspected quack. Do a copy to NMA and Fed Ministry of Health (Dept of Health Services) and relax and watch them do their due dilligence

It may be that you Nigerians don't have the basic information to make the appropriate and accurate judgments.

90 percent of Nigerian medical doctor are quack, I stopped going to hospital for long, people only study course for pride these days not longer for passion.

The NMA have a team responsible for fishing out quacks. If you know a certified member of NMA, he/she can direct you well.

This is the same thing i think about the doctor that performed surgery on my Elder Brother, for Colon Cancer.

After operation, his stomach burst open, and they had to go do a colostomy surgery again

Getting a response via this means is nonexistent. You can just go to the nearest NMA secretariat though the index case you are talking about is MDCN purview
