On February 9th 2022, famous and controversial On-Air-Personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, retires.

He made the announcement on his radio show called "Live & Dangerous With Daddy Freeze & Ada Blessing" on Nigerian Info 99.3 Lagos.

Daddy Freeze aged at 46 years old said he had a wonderful time on radio, that radio was a passion for him and not a means to put food on his table.

He further said he will use this time to concentrate on his church "The FreeNation" and on social media platforms.

HIS BIOGRAPHY:

Ifedayo Lucian Olarinde a.k.a. Daddy Freeze was born on the 6th of May 1976 by a Nigerian Father and a Romanian Mother. He is the firstborn and has three younger sisters named Yetunde, Omolola, and Oluremi. His father is from the Yoruba extraction Osun state to be precise and his mother from Europe.

Daddy freeze owns a dual citizenship certificate as he wasn’t born in Nigeria, he was born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania though he was brought back to Nigeria of which he spent most of his youthful age in Ibadan the Oyo State capital.

Just like every other person Daddy Freeze worked as a broadcaster and was well known for always criticizing Christian religious leaders with every opportunity he has to talk to people both on air and via social media.

He is the convener of the FreeTheSheeple movement in Nigeria and leader of the FreeNation in Christ virtual Church (social media). He and his fans have a different perspective about Christianity and also the practice of Christianity in Nigeria and in Africa.

His critics made him very popular though he already was a known broadcaster on Cool-FM Lagos Nigeria, he is a man of controversial taste and this has been getting him so much attention.
