Funny enough, I never heard this song till i watched the video recently. It was originally released in 2009. I've been playing it over and over. . . . i always thought Morachi was a fake d'banj. . . I think he's good. He and D'banj are not the same. I wouldn't compare the two. They're both good in their own ways. |

ha ha, am not talking objectively here. its just personal preference: i prefer the likes of "pere", "suddenly", "igwe" , "fall in love" etc. I can't directly compare this guys tune to dbanj's coz the beat and style is kinda highlife. its still a dance track anyways although it sounds more like a war song, lol. its not like there's much content in either Morachi or d'banj songs, i just prefer dbanj's |

@rapjunkie, i am igbo too and do follow the lyrics. but the : ibu onye thingy and the beat, all point to it been a battle songs. sounds like something that came out of Ohafia,lol. I have to qualms with it, its a very good song, but i prefer d'banj style. I did like his Hapuya like that, he's a good artiste |

Post am for Facebook o, make we see comments o" --  OP----you're exaggeration a lil' bit. Ibu onye is better than anything Dbanj has ever released? Haba--small small my guy."Gbona feli feli", "Why me", and "Fall in love" can step up to "ibu onyE" IMO.  As for Dbanj---that one is just overrated. I can name ten "underdogs" that are better than him by far; Skales, Klever Jay, kelly handsome, Ducan Mighty, Dammy krane, Durella, Dj Zeez, Sound sultan(not really an underdog), Reminisce, Tunde Ednut, etc. |

To me, those three songs by dbanj are his best--and Yes they can step up to "Ibu onye". "Fall in love" is a beautiful song. "Why me" doesn't get old. "Gbona feli feli" is a HOT. Me? I'm BABE! --- Ibu onye? |
