ASUU Strike To End Soon ,FG Assures That by Oluwatech(m): 2:56pm On Feb 23, 2022
During the meeting held between FG and the UNION yesterday, the Federal Government assured that the ongoing strike embarked by Academic Staff Union of Universities ,ASUU, on Feb 14,2022 would be called of soon..

After this was announced by the Federal Government yesterday, ASUU, insisted that the suspension of the ongoing strike depends on Federal Government, their readiness to meet its demands, like bringing in another payment platform, University Transparency and Accountability Solution.

Yesterday, The House of Representatives urges stakeholders in the education sector to close rank and call of their ongoing a one month warning strike of university lectures in the interest of students.

Meeting was inconclusive as usual. The FG came with their nonchalant approach.
Just like the beautiful lady said yesterday, this government doesn't really give a damn about Education.
