New Start menu 

Most of the changes in Windows 11 are right in front of you. It's called the Start menu. As in Windows 10, it isn't anchored to the left side of the screen. Instead, it floats above the bottom center of the screen and moves up and down. 

If you look at the Windows 10 Start menu, it's a lot bigger. You can't scroll through it like you can with the Windows 10 Start menu. Instead of large tiles, some of which are "live" tiles that show information that changes, you get rows of small application icons. Simply click on the app you want to run. 



Windows 11 lets you move the app icons on the Start menu where you want them to be. You can move any icon by dragging and dropping it. The apps you see are just some of the ones on your PC. To see them all, click All apps at the top right of the menu. They'll show up in a vertical list that you can scroll through.
