Germany kept up their fine form at these FIFA U-17 finals with a 3-2 win to send England crashing out in Morelia. Impressive striker Samed Yesil scored a pair of goals on the day as the junior nationalmannschaft now move on to play either Mexico or France in the semi-finals.

Most of these so called Turkish and Polish players were either born in Germany or grew up there

Its like asking why Agbonlahor or Muamba played for England, WHy Vieira, Evra, makelele, Zidane, Djorkaeff, etc played for France or how Amauri, Balotelli, etc played for Italy, Marcos Senna for Spain, Nani, Eusebio etc for Portugal
