The latest style of Access Bank Plc style of defrauding is to leave misplaced ATM card for which you have requested for cancellation unclosed yet issue you a new one.
My recent experience.
My son operate a student savings account number 068910---- and had his Visa ATM card misplaced, he immediately approached Uselu Branch of Access bank, in Benin City for cancellation and reissuance of a new card.
The cancellation the branch claimed was done a new master card was reissued to him which he has since been using.
On Sunday April 3rd, five debit alerts in total sum of N33,000 came in with narration POS/WEB PMT BET9JA which he never initiated because we were together at home.
We immediately complained to Access Bank through contactcenter@accessbankplc.com and received a reply that a Visa card was used on BET9JA POS for the transaction and we should visit a branch.
This we did by paying a visit to UAC Building Branch in CBD, Abuja and the front desk officer that attended to us explained in detail that the card that was in used before this master card was not cancelled and used to carry out the transactions that was not initiated by the account holder.
She went further to say nothing the bank can do about it.
We had to reach the bank through their contact email narrating our visit to their branch only for the bank to change the narrative that a master card was used for the transactions earlier confirmed from two inside sources that Visa card was used.
This is a clear case of corporate complicity of frauds against harmless customers.
THIS IS ACCESS BANK PLC LATEST FRAUDULENT STYLE THAT THE PUBLIC SHOULD BE AWARE OF.

You could have disabled the card using the bank app.
