As a Sunday school kid, we were told that if we die, we were sure to go to heaven.

We were also told that this world is not for believers and for a believer to die is gain as he/she is sure of Heavenly crown.

We were also shown Bible pictures, and made to read Bible passages on how the Apostles of Christ and early Christians joyfully gave their life , and accepted to die for their faith.

But lately, reverse seems to be the case. Church leaders want to live forever and fly around the world, with some clamoring not to see death until they are older than Methuselah.

Let’s not talk about followers who want to enjoy Heaven on earth cos they are no longer sure of the real Heaven with street paved in gold and diamond.

Now, my question is why are believers afraid of death if Heaven is truly the goal?

He knows death is the door to Life, as Written!

The first and foremost believer in God is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, because Jesus knew that dead people aren't going to heaven he started crying and begging God not to forget him in his grave! Hebrews 5:7

So death is evil and the only remedy is a call back to life (resurrection) that's why Job prayed that God should not forget him in his grave! Job 14:13-15

But Yahoo big boys claiming pastors know that they don't have any good works towards God so they are scared of the consequences as God's word says evildoers will not be remembered but forgotten in their graves! Psalms 9:17

All servants of God knew that their hope is a resurrection from the dead just as Abraham believe that God can raise Isaac from the grave Abraham never thought Isaac will go to heaven! Hebrews 11:19

when their oga at the top themselves are afraid of dying, why wouldnt these slaves do the same.
