Do you have to use CentOS? Can you use Ubuntu?

If no, then what troubleshooting steps have you taken? Have you selected your installation source and destination?

Also change your timezone to Africa/Lagos (not critical but always nice to have)

Please stick to Ubuntu it's way easier unless you are using Cent Os for a specific reason.

I have done all troubleshooting seen when installing but still same issue. Maybe I should continue with the class, might see this Ubuntu. Thank you for responding.

CentOs is based on RedHat, so configuration are different. He wouldn't be able to follow the tutorial strictly, cause things would be different

From what I am seeing, you don't have internet connection. It needs that to update repository from net.

There's been a lot of backlash about the CentOS change to a rolling distro. Once daily, I have to deploy at least one new CentOS 7.6 server. CentOS is tricky. The enterprise OS community is migrating to Rocky or Alma Linux distros

I haven't installed centOs before so I wouldn't know but generally it should not. The page he is showing us is irrelevant though. I think the one behind it is more important. I am thinking he hasn't done partitioning yet.

The page he is showing is where the installation occurs for CentOS. And yes it looks like they don't have a Linux partition (ext4) on their Hard Disk. More straightforward solution would be for them to virtualise it with Virtualbox

On second look, it looks like they are actually trying to install it as a Virtualbox VM

Ensure system requirements is met, also ensure all permission is granted. Kukuma turn on your Internet. It can do a thing or two!

If you are specific on what you want to do with CentOS, then you might get help online, cause the configuration might be different, depending on the need.

CentOS has gotten to it's end of life. But I like CentOS . I don't know if Ubuntu supports cpanel .
Use CentOS 7 instead, it's more stable compared to CentOS 8

Are you dual booting it or single-boot
