You cannot claim you LOVE Jesus and NOT LOVE his body!! The church.
Emphasis is on "loving Jesus" and not on identifying as a Christian!!

• The reason many people boldly say that they are ok not attending church, but say they still love God, is that they Don't know what it means to love God.
Lol, what they have towards God is a "dutiful feeling of respect, because they acknowledge him as their creator" and not love so they see church going as a thing of duty and not an act of zeal, if you truly love someone you would want to be in his house with those he loves.
Ps 122:1 "I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of the lord"

• The reason why some people have the feeling that they can worship God in the confines of their own space and still maintain an acceptable life before him is that they don't know how much God wants them to grow spiritually. Lol, Because they don't commit few notorious "big sins" like lying, stealing, or maybe fornication so they think they are ok with God and he is ok with them, lol, if only we know how much we don't know God yet and how high the standards of holiness he wants us to reach are!!
I am not saying that a person can't grow spiritually due to his personal fellowship with God, nope, infact that is very important but if you're TRULY growing, you would also develop the desire to be among God's people in church because you'll now see how much you are still YET TO grow in God.

• The attitude of not wanting to be around any gathering of Christians shows that you are either INDIFFERENT or hateful towards fellow Christians and shows that you don't love others who are God's children.
1John 2:9 "Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness"
1John3:14 "We know that we have passed from death to light, because we love our brothers, anyone who does not love remains in darkness"

• Likewise the idea that you "love your personal space" is another excuse that still shows how much you don't love God, if you do, then your love for God would overwhelm your introverted nature.

• If your church preaches doctrines not consistent with scripture or engages in practices that are unscriptural, then leave that church and ask God to lead you to a better church

• Even if you have been offended by a someone in church, that isn't an excuse to stop going to church, Your worship is to God and not that person!! You can change your church if you can't bring yourself to relate with the person because of the offence but ensure to forgive the person afterward.

• Yes it's true that the church is a mixed multitude, both Good and bad people come in, but you came to worship God and not to observe who and who attends church and is still living in Sin... That's not your business, that's God's business so mind your business!!

• Going to church is a command!!
Heb 20:25 "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some..."
So not going is an act of disobedience!!

In Conclusion, being in God's house always requires love for him, the problem today is that we have many dutiful, old testament fashioned, "I was brought up a Christian" people who claim to be Followers of Jesus but don't LOVE him. If you don't love God enough to desire his presence just admit it!! Don't cook up the silly excuse of you being able to serve and love God in private without needing to go to church!!

it isnt necessary, but as it is the only place where these fraudsters/charalatans in robe can probably defraud you of your money (via tithe), they make it mandatory that you go every sunday, so they can part you with your money!

For church in that thread clearly meant a physical building, with an identifiable name and a people who subscribe to that name on that building.

Yet all the qualities of God's Holy Spirit (LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, GOODNESS, GENTLENESS, FAITH, MILDNESS, and SELF-CONTROL) could be found (not in each imperfect individual making up that group) but in that BODY {Galatians 5:22-23} WHY because each of them is an imperfect human just like Jesus' first century followers striving to conquer their fleshly desires! Surely it's only those within his domain that will be saved but all those outside his camp will be destroyed! Luke 19:27 compare to Numbers 35:26-28
So whoever thinks Christianity in isolation is OK should meditate thoroughly on Paul's words to his Jewish brothers:

If you're not in the fold there's no way Jesus' blood can save you {Exodus 12:22-23} because you must present yourself among his disciples before he can recognize you as his own {Matthew 18:20} you can only pray for personal needs in isolation but as regards your salvation you must work and walk together with his fold! John 10:16

What we need to make research upon now is the true BODY OF CHRIST because that's where all wise ones like EAGLES are GATHERED! Luke 17:37

If you are very concerned about losing your money you can choose not to give an offerring or rather give the amount you want, no body forces you to give a specific amount, as much as i agree that giving is overemphasized in churches these days no body forces you to give!! What defines a Christian is how you live your life according to the gospel of Christ Jesus

Does your life glorify God,
Does your attitude towards your fellow men want to make people worship God

Some Churches these days are gathering of people with ulterior motive, can the spirit of God dwell there

You would say it is a mixed multitude because you do not know that birds of the same feather, flock together. Evil doing people can not bear the presence of righteous people and righteous people can not bear the presence of evil lovers. And we know ourselves on sight.

For a very long time God has abandoned Christiandom and other false religion. What are they preaching in church? someone with collar will climb the altar/platform and begin to address the members with what happened to him during the week, after this he will call for tithe and offering. His life and that of his family depends on the money realised and if his member are not contributing much he launches denunciation words to threatened them to pay. The cycle continues years in years out.

Also in the days of Jesus the pharisees were corrupt and vile, did Jesus stop going to the temple? No!! Instead he even interacted with them and stood up for the right thing, so??

Here's a simple question to ascertain whether you have actually studied that Bible yourself. Where in scripture do you have Jesus Christ commanding that you attend your churches?
