EKEDC VS CLEMENT AKPENE
(1) How EKEDC sued a Man who reported the activities of the EXCO of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Powered by Simeon Ewhimonih(the chairman) who sales National Grid for 140 /KLW and make a minimum electricity purchase as 56k per month,

(2) recalibrate the meters to run faster without license from NERC or any other Government Agencies.

(3) They also refuse to connect the man house to national grid for 3 years now.


It is no longer news that most estate in Nigeria, EKEDC are adding and abitting them to defraud exploit Nigerians of Electricity using the Exco's to perpetrate this fraudulent activities.

The case of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Association by LBS Lekki Ajah is not an expectional as the Association and Chairman Simeon Ewhimonih fix and sale national grip electricity without license from the relevant agencies NERC, TCN or Ministry of Power and they have made over 2.5 billion for the last 5 years and they continue this activities till date unabated.
It is a public knowledge that Band D, in the National grip tariff plan is sold out officially by Government regulated agency NERC @ 29/KLW, the same band Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Estate by Lagos business school, Lekki Ajah are captured to operate within in the confined of the NERC but sadly Simeon Ewhimonih who thinks he has above the law of the land took it upon himself and have zero regard to the constitution and laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria took it upon himself to make business out this to enriched himself powered,aided and supported BY EKEDC top official at Marina office.

Mr Clement Akpene who noticed this illegality and activities petition EKEDC NERC and FCCPC to verify if the EXCO's of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Estate by Lagos Business school Lekki Ajah have some kind of license to disregard the official power sales and increase electricity tarriff on their own.
Low and behold, they have no single license or approval to operate this scheme and till this moment NERC has refuses to prosecute the Exco's of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Estate Ajah for exploiting gullible residents.

The petition resulted to Mr Clement Akpene home been disconnected by the EXCO of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Estate chairman called Simeon Ewhimonih who has no visual source of income to sustain a livelihood he lives other than feeding from the proceeds from the illegal sales of National Grid.

To add fuel to the already burning Bush, EKEDC took it upon themselves to sue Mr Clement Akpene to the Tribunal on behave of the Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Estate Ajah after FCCPC order that EKEDC should connect Mr Clement Akpene Apartment and other residents who wishes to be connected to the national grip.
This is about 3 years, Mr Clement Akpene and families have been without electricity for a simple sin of reporting the illegal activities of forcing residents of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Estate to buy electricity minimum of 56k per month.
Be that as it may, the judgement from the tribunal came up today and it was in favor of Mr Clement Akpene who had gone to court with EKEDC.
In view of all this, NERC refuses to prosecute this EXCO's of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 Association to serve as deterrent to others.They have made sales of electricity to the tune of 2.5 bills for the last 5 years and pays Zero kobo as tax to the coffers of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

They make over 49million on electricity per month on average.



Till this moment they still sale power without license or consequences for this illegal activities and they once boasted that they money they
make is enough to buy any judge or security agencies that will sent to investigate them.

The infamy activities of the EXCO of Lekki Gardens Phase 3 is still fully active and light must prevail over darkness

We were able to secure judgement and was awarded the sum of 250,000 Naira
Against EKEDC
