I want to live in Lagos for about a year.

It is located in Ajah area of Lagos. This is on the island and very very close to Victoria Garden City (VGC) if you have heard of it. It is also about 10mins to 15mins drive from Lekki Phase 1.

How far of a drive is that from Lagos - downtown area? Specifically the street called Yaya Abatan Street, Ogba, Lagos?

I am looking for a place to stay as I will be working on that street during my stay.

Is there a bus that goes back and forth from that area? Or would I need to drive to cut down on time?

Does it come with its own generator or do I provide that as well?

I have never been to Nigeria - this will be my first time.

Well on a good day it would take you about one and half hours or less to get to that part of town and yes there are buses which we call BRT buses that move in that direction. If you choose to drive yourself then it might take you less time to get there because the buses tend to make brief stops to pick up or drop off commuters.

The property is totally available right now and yes you would need to provide your own generator.
