Only small problem is, if I add like 100 or 200k I'll buy a 2009 in pristine condition. Question is, why use 2.4 to buy a 2005?

If you check jiji, you'll notice a drastic reduction in the number of foreign used 2003-2007 Corolla and more of 2009+

The point is, smart dealers are shifting away from this vehicle simply because the price no longer makes sense. There's a price point where it becomes very difficult to sell.

You'll be better off marketing a 2009+ at 2.6m than a 2005 at 2.4m.

Unfortunately Nigerians prefer the 03 to 07 corolla cos of its commercial usefulness and ruggedness... I don't need to emphasise on this cos everyone doing uber or bolt , will first consider this set of corolla b4 thinking of other type or brand .

This one here has been on sale for almost two weeks no buyer. When the price was within reach, you would have sold it instantly.

In car business you sell as you buy ...have you heard about this slogan b4? I don't manufacture car ..
It will be a disaster for me to remain out of business cos of high price of car..
Na you go feed my family. I have a policy of buying a car that I won't have to spend a future to fix it b4 selling . Such cars don't come easy. Before you blame dealers ...ask yourself...do car owners sell there cars cheap this days ? Is better I investment on cars whether they buy it now or not
The good news is that I will still sell it on profit .The second option is to keep the money in the bank ...so that banks keep making money out of my money and they can't even give me interest...they can only deduct all manners it charges from my money ...at the end the amount won't be the same again .

I don't expect you to understand my point of view . The harsh situation of things in Nigeria is enough to teach us lesson . I am done talking ..I won't sell my car at loss to please you .
