Ogbono soup is a recipe on its own.

Thanks for the reply

Just go ahead and make plain ogbono or plain okra, whichever one you prefer.

You're welcome.

So, my mum makes this insanely delicious fish stew, and when I say delicious, I mean wickidly delicious.
Her secret to making this stew is using lots of onions, and by lots, I mean Senegalese LOTS!
Like, my mum can use one part onions to three parts fresh tomatoes/pepper blend.
(And yeah! she fries her onions on low heat too)
Even though I use lots of onions in my stew as well, I just knew there was something I was missing to get my fish stew to taste like my mum's.
Then recently, I said to my mum "Mummy, I'm craving that your fish stew o, and I want you to cook it for us.
I know you use lots of onions, and I use as much onions too, but it still doesn't taste exactly like yours.
What is your secret?"
That's when she made the big reveal "While frying the onions, I add seasoning to it." And I was like "What!? So, that's it abi?"
So, there. cheesy
