Kaduna CP Presents Over N92m Cheques To Families Of Deceased Police Officers by Jatuski: 5:04pm On Jun 16, 2022
The Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command, CP Yekini A. Ayoku psc (+),mni has on Wednesday June 15, 2022, presented cheques worth 92,089,897.01 Naira to 43 beneficiaries of families of deceased Police Officers, who died in active service, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman, psc(+), fdc, NPM.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Muhammed Jalige, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday June 16, 2022.


The presentation of the cheques was part of the IGP’s Group Life Assurance Scheme for the year 2020/2021, being given to the families of the deceased Police Officers.

The programme which took place at the Command headquarters, Kaduna was witnessed by members of the command's management team and other relatives/guardian of the beneficiaries.

The Commissioner of Police, while presenting the cheques, appreciates the efforts of the Inspector-General of Police, for improving the welfare of the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force and urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money for their betterment.

One of the beneficiaries, spoke on behalf of all the benefiting families, thanked the Inspector-General of Police for the welfare package and promised to use the money judiciously.
