The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is getting ready to start bringing legal action against landlords who rent out flats to Yahoo Boys, or internet scammers. According to the EFCC, homeowners convicted of sheltering Yahoo Boys face a 15-year prison sentence. The anti-graft organisation announced this on its official Instagram page while inviting the public to a town hall meeting on June 29, 2022, with the theme "Landlord: Give Your House to Yahoo Boys, Spend 15 Years in Jail."
