An elderly woman was shot as she sat in the courtyard of a Brooklyn public housing development Sunday, police said. The 74-year-old woman was outside the Pink Houses on Loring Ave. near Autumn Ave. in East New York when the sound of gunfire echoed through the community about 6:35 p.m., cops said.
