I just went to renew my visa card and i was told that access bank has stopped international transactions. Please can anyone give me a reason for this. Also is this just an access an bank thing or does it affect all banks

Due to economic crisis occasioned by balance of trade deficit making foreign exchange scarse.Most banks can't cope with the enormous demand for scarse foreign exchange hence the restrictions.

Some banks Peg it at 20usd for naira dominated international card transactions monthly.
