The Federal Government has instructed the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to permit Nigerians living abroad who have expired passports to return to Nigeria.

The instruction was provided by Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior, on Wednesday in Lagos in response to a complaint made by Mr. Jamui Kasumu, a Nigerian-American citizen, at the Alausa Passport Office during his impromptu visit to the location.
