Sincerely, there are many students who want to study and pass their ICAN Exams this NOVEMBER 2022 but they lack the motivation to study.

Francisca who called me yesterday is a typical example. She called me to express her gratitude for my consistent posts which have been pushing and waking her up from her slumber.

She expresses her dissatisfaction with herself because the motivation to study is not just there.

I responded to her plight and thought I should share the same with you and any student who might be going through the same thing.

Since we lack the motivation to study most time, especially in this environment, although this is still an excuse.

It is because we take studying for granted so it is easy for you to make excuses.

Truth be told, Studying is a time-taking and tedious job. It doesn't give us instant gratification like chatting on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, surfing on YouTube, Snapchat etc.

Like I reminded her of this Chinese Proverb "learning is like rowing upstream, not to advance is to drop back". She must be aware of the urgency and importance of studying.

As Alexander Pope said,” Charm strikes the sight but merit wins the soul”. Learning makes you meritorious. A quality of eternal nature.

Hence, the need for you to enjoy the process of studying. You must study for the sake of the person you will become after studying. A good study will leave you with something positive. Something lasting. You may not be able to remember everything you studied. But then you have to revise.

Knowing what you now know, do you still want to sit on the fence or do you want to achieve your goal of qualifying. The choice is Yours to make.
