The government of Ogun State has commenced a job recruitment exercise for 10,000 indigenes of the state. This is in fulfillment of Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s promise to employ 10,000 youths within his first 100 days in office. The recruitment is to cut across all the Local Government Areas of the state.



The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu, disclosed this at his maiden press conference held at the Ministry’s Press Centre in Abeokuta.

According to him, “forms can be obtained free in all the local councils as the administration of Senator Amosun has abolished payment of fees for application forms for government jobs.”



The Commissioner also disclosed that the Ogun State Executive Council had approved the immediate rehabilitation and reconstruction of several kilometers of roads, cutting across the state. The governor, he said, has expressed his displeasure with the derelict state of road network in the state and promised to repair them.
