This season English Premier League is getting more interesting but attention have been drawn to various complains concerning the VAR decision in week 1 and 2.

Manchester City remains the league leaders after a convincing performance in their games. Arsenal are second on the league table with goal difference and will be hoping to extend their winning ways in their next match.

Fans across the world have criticised the use of VAR this season and we will be looking at 5 wrong decisions taken by VAR and Referee.

1. Romeo Foul On Cucurella

A lot of Referees have criticised VAR decision not to give Romero a straight Red card for the foul on Chelsea star Cucurella.

The center Referee Anthony Taylor had a clear view of the incident but refused to award a foul to Chelsea. Tottenham Hotspurs scored the equalizing goal through the corner that should have been canceled because of the foul in the build up.

2. Kai Havertz Foul

Chelsea suffered another controversial decision from the Referee after refusing to award a foul to Chelsea despite having a clear view of the tackle.

Tottenham Hotspurs capitalized on that opportunity to score their first equalizing goal.

3. McTominay Foul

Manchester United midfielder McTominay escaped a Red card in their first match against Brighton Albion. The VAR and Referee were wrong not to sent him off because it was a career ending tackle.

4. Mitrovic Penalty

Liverpool were unlucky with the VAR and Referee decision against Fulham in their first match of the season. The VAR award a penalty to Fulham despite having a clear view of the simulation by Mitrovic.

5. Welbeck's Penalty Claim

Welbeck was denied a penalty in their first match against Manchester United. The England International was brought down by Martinez right inside the penalty box but the VAR refused to award a penalty to his team.

Do you think the VAR got their decisions right in Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs match?

Mctominay's tackle should have been a straight red card. English refs are most time bias in decision taking. I felt pity for Chelsea in their last outing against Tottenham, I feel like strangling that Anthony taylor.
