This morning I saw this thread where someone said he bought banana for #400.
I think it is expensive, I find time on market days here in Lokoja to buy some certain things from the market. I bought this banana for #1200 on market day. Seller said 3500, after bargaining eventually paid #1200 for it . The only stress here is cut them from the bunch and I wrap with black polythene nylon and keep it in a warm place to allow for natural ripening ,I think for the groundnut it’s the same price here in Lokoja

Me I beleive every state in Nigeria is viable in one food or many at very affordable price. But insecurities nor let person hear word

I think most banana and plantain sold here is coming from Benin and ondo state

Wow! That's alot of bananas for that amount. This one na full daily bread. Thank God for fruits like this, i can eat all in one sitting. Omoh na to change location ohh.

E get one place for Lagos, a bunch of that banana would cost nothing less than 400 to 500.

It may also interest you to know that the same quantity of banana during scarcity can be as high as 4K

And yet many supermarkets in Lagos import Bananas and sell for about 7-10k naira per bunch
