MY MUSINGS ON FG OFFER TO ASUU
1. Revitalization is only a promise in next year's budget. Our strike has not achieved this for now.
2. EAA of two tranches is promised in next year's budget. We have not achieved anything yet.
3. Renegotiated agreement has yielded nothing; only a promised of 30k-60k in next year's budget.
4. No report with respect to visitation panels
5. UTAS has not been accepted even in principle and no trusts the government will deploy it.
6. The least lowest rank lecturer has about 600k to lose in six months
7. The most senior professor has about 2.8m to lose in six months
8. No salaries increment as of now.
9. Why waste our time and suffer with our children staying at home because we don't have money for school fees, food, health, transportation, etc for six months and call off strike without achieving anything?
10. Why waste parents and students resources and time and then call off strike without achieving anything?
11. Why lose money of about 600k - 2.8m to come and receive between 30-60k next year
12. What will be our gain and Nigerians gain should we suspend the strike now?

Nobody cares about your rants. Stop holding students to ransom like the train kidnappers held Nigerian hostages to ransom.
