anyone with an idea of what i can put my money into in order for me to generate some extra cash within say 3 months instead of just keeping it in the bank w/o the money increasing for close to a year now

Hi. This topic has been so well flogged i believe the mods should sticky a few popular <50k, 50k to 100k, 150k to 300k , 300k to 500k, 500k to 1m, 1m to 5m, 5m to 10m, >10m threads.

Until then, you'll have to dig through the say, first 10 pages on this section for old posts cos those that give solid advice dont usually repeat themselves.

Some of the ideas that fit that budget and that i can remember include buying and selling, recharge card business, poultry or fish farm, forex, information marketing, etc.

It depends on how liquid you want the cash to remain. Some projects are not easy to liquidate you know.

Lets say u r currently making 5% p.a. from your bank and want to make 10% per month, the question then becomes what business can generate 10k monthly or N500 daily on 100k? (u can adjust the figures).

Put that way and factoring your risk level and business leanings, you might be able to decide.
