A two storey building collapsed in a Housing estate at Nagoyi, along New Jos road Zaria . The two storey building was occupied but the occupants heard funny sounds and quickly evacuated the building shortly before it collapsed at 3 am while it rained heavily. Luckily no life was lost.
The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency had earlie marked the building and aske the developer to conduct a structural integrity test a week ago before the building collapsed at the early ours of today.
The occupants lost all their belongings in the event and other tenants can be seen moving their properties from the remains blocks of flat to avoid another incident.
