The Sanitary Pad You Never Knew: Totally New Experience!! by Godsonpen1(m): 12:54pm On Sep 14, 2022
What I'm about to discuss will go a long way to impact you as a lady. And, as a man, do not say it's not your business. Read, let me show you how menstruation concerns you.

First, debunk the thought that says it is "WOMEN'S THING". As a man, I'm sure you have a wife, daughter(s), sister(s), female friends, female students, female colleagues, etc. And it might also interest you that; certain mismanagement of mentrual hygiene practices have made certain ladies barren; and if one's wife suffers this in her body, you would suffer it in your head as a man.

And, a lot of things have been mistaken for the reason certain ladies get barren; not knowing that there are certain barrenness caused by lack of proper menstrual hygiene practices.

KINDLY PAY ATTENTION AS A MAN.

As a lady, you will understand fully well how uneasy it is to cope with Diposable Sanitary Pads and their impacts on both the HEALTH OF MENSTRUATORS & the wellbeing of the ENVIRONMENT.

A lot of these pads you use (name them), are not actually safe to use: they contain a lot of harmful chemicals and substances that affects your body, a lot of which you're unaware, and which might leave you thinking it's something else.

It might interest you to know that the conventional (disposable) sanitary pads you use today contain some plastic substances, which aren't healthy to your private part, and not also healthy to the environment.

Did you know that these plastics substances contained in your pads take about 500 year to 800 years to decompose (decay)?

Come on, don't be too quick to debate this recorded fact, and that which is even recorded by World Health Organization and Other Global Health Organizations. You can also make your research if you will.

Then again, the sanitary pads are on the high demands and highly cost in the markets. So, a lot of underserved young girls do NOT have access to quality mentrual hygiene products; no reach to efficient menstrual hygiene facilities, no access to proper menstrual hygiene education around it - lack of these 3 phenomenon is known as PERIOD POVERTY!!

There are a lot of things to learn about this - days are changing when even certain 8 years old girls have started menstruating. We'll discuss another day to prepare our mothers ahead of their younger girls' period.

But, the main reason for this post is to ADVOCATE AND PROFER SOLUTIONS FOR/TO OUR GIRLS AGAINST PERIOD POVERTY - stay with me to the end.

In regards to the above, all of us at ccds.org.ng have taken to heart that we must pioneer this good FIGHT of ADVOCACY to support our dear young girls, ladies and generally MENSTRUATORS to have access to the REVOLUTION AND INNOVATION HAPPENING NOW ABOUT the new normal.

As such, we launched an ecofriendly sanitary pad by name; THE BODYBOLD ECOPAD on 28th May this year - on the World Menstrual Hygiene Day; in Port Harcourt City, Nigeria.

You would be wowed about what people are saying concerning this new system of pad product in Nigeria - it is not however new in some part of the world, like in certain part of America, Asia, Europe, etc - even in Africa, few people are beginning to know about it - don't be left out.

Now, the reason it is called ECOFRIENDLY sanitary pad is because, it is made from 100% organic materials.

Another good thing about it is, it is 100% better than the conventional disposable sanitary pads (the common pads in use).

Some of the things you need to know about it are:

1. It has environmental friendliness - disposing it is not harmful to the environment at all.

2. It is made from 100% organic materials; which means, it contains no plastic at all.

3. It is 100% chemical free - not harmful to the body.

4. It is washable & reusable - totally easy to manage. This is where you might be skeptical, but don't be quick to judge. I'll explain.

5. It lasts for over 3 years - A pack of it.

6. Most importantly, it helps MENSTRUATORS relax their abdominal muscles and reduces menstrual cramps.

In fact, knowing these things about it aren't enough, so we took it to another level, by training people, both ladies and concerned gentlemen how to MAKE THESE PADS. Anyone can be trained.

Guess why we're training people.

It is because of the love we have for humanity: have you considered how much pad cost in the market?

So instead of bothering about that, you learn how to make this one for YOURSELF AND ALSO ESTABLISH A BUSINESS ENTERPRISE AROUND IT - people are already talking about this! Isn't it amazing?

You would understand how expensive it is for underserved girls to have access to MENSTRUAL hygiene products. Secondly, the sanitary pads business is a million dollar business. Hence, this huge opportunity to empower women and generally MENSTRUATORS.

Obviously, this venture is however not for women alone as mentioned earlier. As men and the #BOYCHILD have been actively engaged in it and are encouraged to support their female counterparts, and sister.

Don't be overwhelmed: the writer of this beautiful content you're reading; I'm a Young Man, full of energy to help give value to Humanity and our dear Sisters (for this particular one) - connect with me for more values (08062118960 - WhatsApp ONLY)

So, Men inclusion in this revolution is to ensure mutual understanding with the ladies in their mentrual period, to arouse the spirit of advocacy of the normalcy involved in menstrual periods, which has often been taken for granted and totally put out of place, and to also fight against Mentrual poverty, body shaming and taboos.

JOIN US @ ccds.org.ng to have this huge revolution become the new normal.

It is all channeled at SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT AND PROTECTING THE HEALTH OF MENSTRUATORS
