Rejected blessing is short story of a young girl Jennifer whose father refused to train because of her being a female, Oga Osai ( King Jomo ) who is Jennifer's father believes that training her is a waste of resource and there' no way he will benefit from it knowing fulling well that she will one day get married and the husband will enjoy what he labored and spent in schooling her. instead he spends his money on women outside his home.
Jennifer and her mother Antonia worked hard to see her through school and this happened.
